Learner Profile: Construction - Plumbing
The Introductory Certificate in Basic Construction Skills 6217-01 (PAVE) is designed to provide basic training in construction skills for those seeking employment in the construction industry, and to provide basic skills for those who may follow other careers. It suitable for use with learners who have no previous experience or knowledge of the construction craft skills.
The qualification is aimed at providing an introduction to these crafts and they specifically provide an understanding of particular craft tasks, not occupational competence in the craft.
This is a level 1 course where students will develop skills in a wide range of areas within construction. The students will spend their time in the construction workshops at Bersham Road. Personal safety equipment will be required (Cost £25)
